Walk to save the world
A sponsored walk in Guernsey is looking for new competitors.
The World Aid Walk takes place on Monday May 7th, has raised £750,000 for charity, so far.
It is the 42nd year for the event, which supports Action Aid, Christian Aid, Hope For A Child, Save The Children, Oxfam and The Tsunami Fund.
Organisers are hoping to add another £30,000 to the coffers this time around.
The 20km walk starts and ends at Market Square in St Peter Port.
There are smaller walks happening at the same time in Sark and Herm.
Michel Davy from event sponsor Ipes said: "We are really pleased to be continuing our association with this popular event.
"As a Guernsey founded business it is great to be able to support an event which so many islanders enjoy taking part in while raising money for much needed causes overseas."
Entry forms are available from www.worldaidwalk.org.gg
