Time to tackle youth drug use
The plight of children living with parents who misuse drugs or alchohol is being tackled in Guernsey.
Drug Concern are working with families to prevent youngsters following their parents.
Workshops will start in January aimed at breaking generational drug use in Guernsey.
It's all aimed at giving their children a voice and coping strategies.
Tracey Rear, Drug Concern said, "It's very easy to look at drug use but if we're talking about how we prevent that, we need to get in early.
"What Drug Concern is doing as a response to that is working with whole families that have substance misuse problems whether that's drugs or alcohol."
