Phone mast concerns investigated in Sark
Sark's Public Health Committee has launched an investigation into possible links between recent health issues and phone masts in the island.
It comes after a consultant who treated two young people for a rare form of cancer said it was unusual to see two such cases in such a small area.
This led to some islanders calling for a study into the impact of phone masts.
Committee chairman David Melling said there was no evidence of a link, but it had a responsibility to investigate.
He said the individual radiation output of each mast was monitored by the regulator, but the new survey would look at their cumulative effect.
