Guernsey Bus disruption all day

Seven bus services were cancelled this morning due to the drivers coming down with sickness.

It comes as CT Plus face strike action from drivers next week over hours and pay.

Having approached the company earlier today, they sent this statement:

"CT Plus Guernsey's services have been affected today by staff illness. Unfortunately a number of the company's drivers have been affected by a virus in the shared accommodation which they occupy.

"Our management team is working hard to maintain services as effectively as possible. We should like to apologise for any inconvenience that this matter may cause to the travelling public."
