No Need for Speed - Limits reduced

The speed limit is being reduced on a number of Guernsey's roads from today.
A new 25 mile per hour limit comes into force today for the roads around and including Route des Coutures Summerfield Road and North Quay.
The changes link the existing Bridge and Vale Schools 25mph zones.
The scheme is initially being implemented as a 9-12 month experiment, towards the end of which, the Environment Department will hold a public consultation on whether to make it permanent.
