The owner of the Thresher and Wine Rack off-licence chains could be on the verge of falling into administration.
Accountant KPMG is working with First Quench in a bid to save the business.
A number of options are believed to be under consideration, including pre-pack administration, a company voluntary agreement or a sale of the business.

The only one I know of personally is not very strategically placed - right opposite a Morrison's! I'm surprised that one has lasted for so long, trying to compete with its neighbor's special offers.
