Jersey's unemployment levels begin to fall
The number of people registered as unemployed and actively seeking work in Jersey has fallen by 10%.
It is the first fall in unemployment levels since August 2009.
Figures compiled by the States show there were 140 less islanders, a total of 1,180, recorded as out of work in March, than in February.
But as there is no requirement to register as out of work with Social Security in Jersey, unemployment levels could be higher than recorded.
More than a third of those registered as unemployed in March were aged under 20.
