Deputy Tasker, who sits in the States of Guernsey lost her parish seat.

Sitting Deputy Jenny Tasker loses her seat in St Peter Port as three douzeniers are elected in St Saviour.

Dennis Le Moignan took the seat of constable from deputy Jenny Tasker by 127 votes to 89.

In St Saviour five people were standing for three douzenier seats. Roger Perrot topped the poll with 219 votes followed by Vic de Garis with 203 and Paul Burnard with 196.

Turnout in St Saviour was 19% of the electoral role with 903 votes cast.

The unsuccessful candidates were John Foley with 153 votes and Michael Best with 135.

Those elected take up their posts in January.

Dennis will have to work hard, as Jenny knew the parish very well and did her utmost to do right.
Had there not been the issue of the new office at Les cotils i am sure she would have retained her place
