Investigations Continue Into Body Found

The family of a woman whose body was found on Guernsey's East Coast are being helped by specially trained police
officers.

Family Liason Officers are working with them after their relative's body
was found by a dog walker on Belle Greve Bay yesterday morning.

Guernsey Police have confirmed the identity of the woman whose body was found on Belle Greve Bay.

Sallyann Bergerac was 34 years old.

It's not yet known how she died and the cause of her death will be
determined by an inquest at a later date but Police investigations
indicate that Miss Bergerac died as a result of a tragic accident.

Guernsey Police have extended their sympathies to the family and friends
of Sallyann, who have asked for some privacy at this very difficult
time.
