Fewer Drink Drivers In Guernsey

The number of people drink driving in Guernsey has fallen.

Arrests have dropped from 200 people in 2006 to 130 in the last year.

This summer's anti drink drive campaign is now aiming to pull that figure down even further.

It is targeting the average person who may have one for the road.

As the number of people committing the crime is dropping, Guernsey Police want to reduce it even further.

The number of people who are caught may be down but I dont believe the number who drink and drive is down. The police should check out the people leaving the various restaurants in the island.
