'Green' transport aim for schools
group in Jersey is to draw up plans for more environmentally friendly school transport.
It is asking parents about their travel arrangements to help schools reduce single car transport.
The research is being run by a group including Jersey's States, the HSBC Bank and environmental organisation the Gerard Le Claire Trust.
Figures from the group suggest that rush hour traffic in Jersey drops by 15% during the school holidays. (from BBC News)
