Charity comes up with a tasty idea to boost funds
AUTISM Jersey has cooked up a tasty fund-raising initiative that will see Islanders compete for a culinary crown in the hope of raising thousands of pounds for charity.
Last night saw the official launch of ‘AJ’s Invitation to Dinner’, which will be based on the popular Channel 4 television series Come Dine With Me.
The aim of the competition is to invite family, friends and colleagues to host a dinner party with the added fun element of being scored.
Trustees and supporters attended last night’s launch at the Savoy Hotel in Rouge Bouillon to hear more about the charity’s new recipe for raising money.
