Alderney flight service under threat?
Concern is mounting amongst islanders in Alderney that they may not be able to enjoy the same level of airline service they've been used to.
It comes on the back of revelations by Blue Islands that they have sold the two Trislanders previously used to serve Alderney.
The Trislanders which could carry 15 passengers per journey, will be replaced by two Islanders which will only carry eight or nine per trip.
The move has been criticised by Aurigny which questions whether its rival is really committed to Alderney.
But Blue Islands have responded to critics saying there is no need for islanders to worry and that prices won't rise as a result of the change.
