Swimarathon makes a splash for 33rd year
Guernsey's Swimarathon looks set to make a big splash as it enters its 33rd year later today.
So far more than 76 Guernsey organisations have entered more than 144 teams.
The aim is to raise £50,000 for local charitable causes including buying a new minibus for the Ron Short Centre.
The event has raised more than £1,000,000 for charitable causes since it began in 1977.
Anyone wanting to go along to watch should make their way to Beau Sejour for 2pm today (Friday).

On the wall in my study is a cloth patch from the first Gsy swimarathon in 77. Great to see it is still going strong.
