Make a splash at the Swimarathon
Businesses in Jersey are being challenged to take part in this year's Swimarathon.
The RBC Challenge Cup will again be awarded to the corporate team that swims the most laps at the Lion Clubs-organised event.
PWC, who won the trophy by clocking up 106 laps last year, will be defending their title.
Team member Ellie Duley, said: "Last year, we took part because we wanted to help such a worthy cause: however, we're both shocked and delighted to find out we had won the Cup. It was a great team effort and we will do our best to bring the Cup back.
Lions Club of Jersey President, Andrew Pearce, said: "The Swimarathon is all about team work. While The Cup creates some light-hearted competition between the corporate teams, we are also encouraging non-corporate teams to come forward and take part."
The 2013 Swimarathon takes place between 13-17th March 2013 at Les Quennevais Sports Centre.
To mark the Lion Clubs 50th anniversary, 50% of the funds raised will be donated to 50 local charities. The remaining 50 per cent will go towards supporting the local community throughout the year.
