Bobbies in Jersey could soon be getting back on their pedal bikes.
The new Chief Mike Bowron is keen to revive a once familiar sight.
He believes a higher 'police presence' is key to encouraging public confidence and in helping to cut crime.
Bike-based bobbies can cover a bigger beat than those on foot patrol, and are believed to be more approachable then than those in cars. (from CTV)
