HSSD fees change would make dentistry ‘more unaffordable’
DENTAL patients could be hit with higher charges.
Health and Social Services has held talks with the surgeries about new charges for using its day unit – £260 per hour.
Deputy Mike Hadley warned that these charges would be passed on to the patients as he quizzed Health and Social Services minister Hunter Adam about the issue in the States yesterday.
He asked whether a flat fee per patient would be fairer, as was the case when people went to Accident and Emergency (from GEP)

Dentistry is a licence to print money, its time the states reeled them in a bit. Their charges are outrageous.
