Grand Hotel sold

THE landmark five-star Grand Hotel has been sold for nearly £11 million and will be run by a company that operates over 40 hotels throughout Britain.
Contracts for sale of the 123-bedroom hotel went through the Royal Court on Friday and the Grand building was sold for £9.38 million while three adjoining properties went for £500,000 each.
The purchase includes staff accommodation and the car park at the front of the building.
The new owners say that all of the 120 staff will be retained and the hotel will continue to operate as normal under the name of Grand Jersey.

I wonder which Guernsey Hotel they will snaffle next ? Guernsey Grand eh, sounds posh dunnit !

the moores hotel group is already owned by great western hotels x
