Jersey Police arrest 10 revellers on New Year's Eve
Ten people were arrested and held overnight in cells during New Year's Eve celebrations in Jersey, the island's police force has said.
Most of the arrests were for alcohol-related or public order offences.
The number of arrests was down on the previous year, when 17 people were detained in custody.
Insp Mary Le Hegarat from Jersey Police said the force had more officers on the beat on New Year's Eve compared with a normal evening.
