Man shot with pellet gun in Guernsey, police say

Guernsey Police have issued an appeal for information after a man was shot with a pellet gun.
The incident occurred between 21:30 GMT and 22:00 GMT on Friday 4 January in the Castel parish.
The force said the man had been walking up the Rue du Friquet towards the Route de Cobo when he was shot in the chest.
Guernsey Police said the pellet pierced his clothes and lodged in his chest, requiring treatment at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital.
