Did you not listen to the speech that your Chief Minister made on his election ? Have you not listened to the many hints I've been giving you ?

What he is trying to say is Trott did not want anything he did not expect it as it would be awkward for him to be on any committee as he is too far up his own bum .

From what I have read Brussels does not want Guerns in the Brussels office they want predictable UK puppets - and if they carry on as they are going the EU wont be functional for lack of funds......

Your constant attempts to get at me by knocking the UK and it's government are becoming extremely tiring and pointless. The coalition are doing a commendable job in the face of hostile media spin to drag us out of the total shambles of 13 years of Socialism. All my life I have witnessed this same cycle of Socialist incompetance followed by Tory hard medicine to rectify the mess.

was it the labour parties fault the worlds banks crashed ..i dont think so..maybe if davey boy cameron and klingon clegg tried a bit harder the uk would be in a better position than it is now..if the torie /lib dem coalition is doing so well can you tell me why they lost so many seats in the local elections..it is becoming so very boring that you seem to think you know all there is to know about guernsey when sadly you dont

They lost all those seats because too many people are like you and believe all the crap put out by the media.
I do not claim to know everything about Guernsey, but I seem toknow more than you do.

Re: Ministers propose their boards
the people in the uk spoke kingcole..what about the granny tax,the pasty tax etc etc...your beloved tory party is taxing everything whether it moves or not..what next a tax on sex, ladies of the night having to pay tax on their illicit earnings..of course davey boy cameron and klingon clegg could legalise prostitution that should bring in a fair few pounds..maybe if the main parties in the uk all got together they could sort the probs out that your country has...that might stop the greedy tories from looking greeneyed at the islands and stop them making more people unemployed over here.

Re: Ministers propose their boards
You have fallen straight into the biggest media lie of them all ! What granny tax ! There has been no tax on pensioners, in fact we have had the biggest increase in our pensions ever. The media have spun the fact that the over 65 allowance was not increased into a 'tax'. Poppycock ! There are all sorts of allowances which are not increased every year, are these all new taxes ? Of course they're not.
Not to mention the fact that the general tax allowance was increased, meaning many more people will not pay any tax and everybody else will pay less.
I think maybe you should stop believing all that you read in a media which is desperately trying to bring down the government before the Coulston enquiry is complete and able to produce a report on it's corrupt and unacceptable activities.

Re: Ministers propose their boards
Very true folks, except Thistle does not seem to think I have any right to voice my thoughts about Guernsey. I try to give an outsiders view of events in Guernsey, based on my frequent visits and conversations with Guernsey people I have known for years.
Hopefully some people appreciate my interest, even if Thistle doesn't.
