See disability in a different way
Jersey Cheshire Home are hoping their quirky art project will inspire people to see disability in a different way.
They're challenging islanders of all ages to create a piece of art without using their hands.
The aim is that they'll appreciate what it's like to be disabled.
The charity wants people to spend about thirty minutes on the artwork, using any medium, film it and then post it on Facebook.
It's all part of their 30th anniversary celebrations - A Year to Inspire.
The challenge is open to individuals or a group of friends or workmates who can get together and let their artistic juices flow. It may also appeal to schools and community organisations.
The closing date is 30th April and films/pictures must be posted on Jersey Cheshire Home Facebook page.
The best entries will be selected for an exhibition at the home in Ropewalk in the summer and there is a prize for the one judged top of all entries.
It is hoped that the exhibited pieces will be auctioned to help the home raise its 30th anniversary total of £300,000 by the end of the year.
